Finding Your Village ("we," "our," or "the app") is a free directory that helps military families discover local childcare providers. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Directory data: Provider listings (names, addresses, contact details, availability) are publicly visible to all users.
Account data: If you create an account, we store your email address and any profile information you provide (e.g., your children's names and notes).
Usage data: We may collect anonymous analytics about how the app is used to improve it.
To display childcare provider listings, enable personal features (favorites, saved child profiles, reviews), process provider-paid featured listings via Stripe, and communicate with you about your account.
Featured listing subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment information securely.
We do not sell your data. Provider contact details you enter are shown publicly as part of the directory. Personal account data is visible only to you.
You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from the Profile tab in the app. Deletion removes your saved favorites, child profiles, and reviews.
The app is intended for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.
